A Woman Is The Only Thing I’m Afraid Of

Male Female Gender SymbolsI came across this funny quote from a famous man who was afraid of a woman.

“A woman is the only thing I am afraid of that I know will not hurt me.” – Bible or Not?

Perhaps it’s funny to me since I’m a man, and can relate. Men fear their mothers, their wives, their girlfriends. No? Perhaps this “fear” is more based upon respect (hopefully) or maybe it’s more about wanting the women in our lives to be happy. And if they are not happy, then we feel as though we have failed in some way, and what we really fear is failure.

Is this quote from a person in the Bible, or some other famous person? If you are a man, are there women in your life that you fear? If you are a woman, do you see any truth in today’s quote?

He created them male and female, and blessed them and called them Mankind in the day they were created.” – Genesis 5:2 (New King James Version)
